Gingivitis is a dental issue you should avoid at all costs. This is because it is the first stage of gum disease, which is one of the most serious and dangerous dental issues in the world today. So, please do all you can to keep gingivitis at bay. You can do so by using Dr. Nancy Urquiola and our dental team’s instructions.

The first thing you need to do is clean your teeth and gums twice a day. You can do so by brushing your teeth twice a day, flossing your teeth and gums once a day, and rinsing your mouth daily. As you do these things, please use a soft-bristled toothbrush, fluoride toothpaste, floss that is easy to use, and antibacterial mouthwash. All of these products should be approved by the American Dental Association.

The last thing you need to do is visit Urquiola Dental Center PC twice a year (every six months) for a routine dental cleaning and exam. When you come to our office, we will deeply clean your teeth and completely remove the tartar from your chompers, which is a toxic substance that promotes gingivitis. Your oral hygiene routine cannot remove this substance from your smile.
